The Environics Institute today released its 2017 edition of the AmericasBarometer – The Canada Report. The AmericasBarometer is a 29-country public opinion survey on democracy, governance and civic engagement, conducted every two to three years by a consortium of research partners across the western hemisphere.

Among its many findings, this report shows clearly that Canadians’ level of confidence in their country’s democracy has not eroded over the past three years, and in some areas has shown improvement.
